2026-2027 CONCERT SERIES

The Kitchener-Waterloo Chamber Orchestra is comprised of a core of professional musicians, semi-professionals from our community, and highly-skilled music students. Together, we share a love of music and a commitment to excellence in performance.

All of our concerts take place in the beautiful sanctuary of Knox Presbyterian Church, 50 Erb Street West, Waterloo. The facilities are fully wheelchair accessible with lots of free parking. Click Here for a map.

Serenade & Song

Together with the Waterloo Regional Police Chorus, this program includes Telemann’s Concerto for Recorder and Bassoon, featuring our very own Matthew Jones and Oskar Martinez, as well as Tchaikovsky's Serenade for Strings. This program explores the ways many music can unite and uplift us. We invite you to listen, reflect, and share in this journey of harmony and connection.

Spring in Motion

Music and dance share a common heartbeat—rhythm, movement, and expression intertwined. This performance brings these art forms together in a vibrant collaboration with the Carousel Dance Centre to perform Copland’s Appalachian Spring as well as works by Corelli and Finzi. Our annual Silent Auction will be held alongside this concert.

Premieres & Prodigies

Join us for a journey across generations! This concert will feature emerging artists from our annual Student Concerto Competition. The competition winners will be showcased alongside a world premiere of a new work by our very own Matthew Donnelly and one of the most beloved symphonies in the repertoire - Beethoven’s Symphony No. 6. What a triumphant way to close out our season!
