Our season will close with Jung Tsai, Associate Concertmaster of the KWS, joining us to perform Violin Concerto#5 by Mozart. We look forward to performing Pavane by Faure and Pastorale by Honegger as well as works by Bloomfield and Purcell.
30th Anniversary Winners’ Showcase

Our 30th annual Concerto Competition will be held this season (open to all full time students), and we look forward to performing with the winners. We will add some Schumann to this concert, but most of the concert will be a delightful surprise!
Old Friends & Fairytales
Sunday February 9th, 2020We are thrilled to welcome back the Contemporary School of Dance to perform our rendition of the Mother Goose Suite by Ravel. To offer a second course of French repertoire, the orchestra will also perform Ravel’s beautiful Tombeau de Couperin. Rounding off the program is Symphony #3 by Schubert.

Sunday November 24th, 2019Our annual silent auction concert will feature J.S. Bach’s miniature comedic opera The Coffee Cantata, with soloists Gordon Burnett, Elizabeth Lepock, and Steven Surian. The beautiful Serenade for Strings by Elgar and Janacek’s Suite for String Orchestra will also be performed. This concert will include an extended intermission for silent auction bids and coffee drinking!
