I’ve been playing violin since I was seven years old. In my teens my teacher in Kitchener, Jenet Evers, inspired me to continue my music studies at university. At Acadia University her former teacher, Janis Kalejs became mine. After graduating with a B.A. in music and a B.Ed. in English, I returned to Waterloo County where I taught Music and English with the WRDSB for 37 years. Now in my retirement years, I appreciate having more time to play the violin. When not playing the violin I enjoy long distance running and spending time with my family.
